The role:
As Lead Technician, you will be responsible for performing time-sensitive aircraft repairs in the field, often in varied and unfamiliar locations across the region. This role requires a high level of professionalism, as you will represent the company while delivering exceptional service to customers. Working with minimal supervision, you must be able to troubleshoot issues effectively and follow Technical Support Guidelines to ensure optimal aircraft performance.
As the first Lead Technician in this role, you will need to be highly independent, resourceful, and proactive. In addition to your technical expertise, you should be prepared to mentor and lead future technicians as the team expands.
Key responsibilities:
Perform AOG and Line Maintenance on Challenger 300 and Premier 1A platforms
Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to include inspections, repair, and servicing
of aircraft
Perform scheduled inspection packages up to 2400 Hour inspection packages.
Perform maintenance IAW with FAA approved technical data
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine
feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged
components
Accurately complete all appropriate maintenance, work order, and RTS Paperwork
Manage all parts ordering and returns for jobs performed
Communicate with crew members and other teams
Greet crew members upon their arrival and work them them to troubleshoot issues
Perform service checks
Perform aircraft walkthrough
 Act as a Maintenance Controller
Essential experience & knowledge:
Experience in maintenance of the following aircraft:
- Bombardier Challenger 300
- Beechcraft Premier 1A (preferred but not required)
Comfortable working at heights of up to 40 feet using fall protection
Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods while performing repairs
Proficient in operating basic hand tools and ground support equipment
Ability to work in confined spaces as needed
Strong mechanical aptitude with effective problem-solving skills
Skilled in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts catalogs
Ability to perform high-quality repairs efficiently, even on short notice
Proficient in data entry and retrieving customer information
Experience using Apple and Microsoft products, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Willingness to travel and perform repairs in various weather conditions
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Required licences and certifications:
Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
Valid US Passport
Tools and Equipment:
Technicians are required to have their own basic tools, while the company will provide specialized equipment and calibrated tooling.
They are also responsible for maintaining company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. Any equipment in need of repair should be properly tagged, and supervisors must be notified via email immediately.
