FBO - Teesside

Our client is seeking a dynamic FBO to spearhead operations, drive growth, and provide a luxury experience to its valued clients. As the hands-on leader of its world-class FBO, you’ll manage every aspect of the high-performing facility, from daily operations to marketing and new business development.
What you'll do:
In this pivotal role, you’ll assume full management and P&L responsibility for the FBO. You’ll lead a passionate team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while cultivating an atmosphere of exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include:
Operational Leadership: Oversee line operations, fuel and hangar sales, and safety compliance, making sure each day runs seamlessly.
Financial Management: Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize profitability and grow revenue.
Marketing & Customer Engagement: Develop targeted marketing strategies to attract new customers, enhance brand image, and maintain excellent customer retention.
Team Development: Lead, train, and inspire your team to excel, providing a first-class experience to clients and crew members.
Compliance & Safety: Work closely with UK Border Force and other regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with all aviation standards.
Who we're looking for:
Our ideal candidate is a dedicated leader with a minimum of three years’ experience in a managerial role, preferably within an FBO or aviation environment. You’ll bring:
Aviation Expertise: Knowledge of aviation standards and the ability to keep operations in line with regulations.
Financial Acumen: A solid track record of managing budgets, controlling expenses, and driving profitability.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional service, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
Marketing Savvy: Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies to enhance brand reach and customer loyalty.
Strong Leadership Skills: Experience developing teams, managing performance, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Hands-On Approach: A can-do attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves to support operations, solve problems, and ensure on-time service.
