The role:
As the Charter Manager, you will manage the delivery of all charter services for our client within Singapore. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, clients/customers and suppliers; negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring that charter services are provided in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of all charter-related policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that any changes or modifications to existing policies are in accordance with organisational and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of a charter flight from initial request to compiling initial offers, following up with internal and external clients and carrying through to booking and handling of flight operation to its completion.
Responsible for engaging with internal and external clients to understand their charter requirements and preferences, providing exceptional customer service throughout the quoting and booking process.
Liaising with internal and external clients [repetitively] to identify requirements, source and procure suitable, best-value, aircraft charter solutions to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
Responsible for providing timely detailed and accurate briefing information to support prospective enquiries to ensure inbound calls and emails are dealt with effectively.
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with charter service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high service quality.
Verify supplier contract in detail and ensure all terms comply with the charter agreement.
To generate and manage a portfolio of clients and actively develop new business through initiatives including following up on new leads, client recommendations and networking opportunities.
Essential experience & knowledge:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of the charter industry, with good experience in aviation charter sales and excellent technical knowledge of jets and the commercial aviation sector.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills [verbally and in writing], with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management skills and client service mentality.
Strong problem-solving skills: ability to provide constructive advice, analyse information and adopt a solution-focused approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
