Role purpose:

​

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client's executive airline based in Hamburg as an Assistant to the Flight Operations Department. As an integral part of the team, you will provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of the aviation industry.

​Responsibilities:

​

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Flight Operations Department, including managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence.

  • Maintain and update flight schedules, crew records, and other operational documentation.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as required by the department.

 

Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with the Flight Operations team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Assist in the verification and inspection of postlight-related reportings, such as flight plans, crew briefings, and operational reports.
     

Communication and Coordination:

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including crew members, ground staff, regulatory authorities, and other departments.

  • Facilitate effective communication between the Flight Operations Department and other departments within the organisation.

afety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

  • Assist in safety-related initiatives and support the implementation of safety management systems.

  • Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities and management.

Who you are:

​​​

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airline Operations, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in aviation, specifically in flight operations or a similar role, is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, procedures, and terminology.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office applications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and 24/7 operational environment.
